Location: We are ideally looking for candidates in the Munich region as the majority of our team members are local to that area. This is a remote role, but the team will meet periodically in person**
We're looking for a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Business Development Representative to help establish and scale our presence across the DACH region. As the first BDR dedicated to this market, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our outbound strategy, building pipeline from the ground up, and helping define what success looks like in the region.
This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys creating structure where it doesn't yet exist, and wants to have a direct impact on company growth. You'll work closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Revenue Leadership to identify target accounts, develop territory strategies, engage key decision-makers, and generate qualified opportunities.
Success in this role requires curiosity, resilience, strong business acumen, and a willingness to experiment, learn, and iterate. You'll have the autonomy to own your territory while contributing to the development of processes, messaging, and best practices that will support future growth across DACH.

Key Responsibilities
Bring a world-class solution to market and function as the initial face of Optro
Generate new business opportunities to fuel Optro’s growth
Leverage sales technology including Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Orum and UserGems to build and manage pipeline
Make 50+ outbound phone calls and 60+ outbound emails each day
Manage your named accounts, own your territory, and help maintain data integrity in Salesforce.com
Support marketing efforts by assisting in demand generation campaigns
Achieve, or exceed, weekly and monthly metrics including sales activities, meetings set, qualified leads, and new contacts prospected
Attributes for a Successful Candidate
Have a strong desire to launch a career in the world of SaaS sales
Audit or Accounting background a plus, but not required
