About Hazel

Hazel is the AI coworker for consumer brands. We connect to a brand's live data — Shopify, Klaviyo, Amazon, Meta, and dozens of others — and turn it into a teammate operators talk to every day. Today, Hazel is unrivaled at research and analysis: ask "why did repeat purchase rate drop last week?" and 30 seconds later you get an answer, cited from live data.

Hazel also takes action herself, proactively flagging issues and making changes directly in Shopify and the other systems she connects to, on the way to running full playbooks autonomously.

We're a small team, venture-backed, managing a long runway while rapidly scaling. Customers include Bogg Bag and OneSkin. We're hiring our first go-to-market hire to join the founding team.

What you'll do

Your job is to own top of funnel, generating qualified pipeline with our CEO. Hazel is already working with top brands who love us; your job is to scale our impact.

In your first 60 days, you'll take over our events and conference calendar, ship content that turns into conversations, and get deep enough on the product, the ICP, and our customers to sound like an operator.

This is a high impact, high ownership role. You'll work directly with customers and Clint, our CEO. A conversation you start today is a deal we close next week.

Beyond that:

  • Own pipeline generation end to end. Set the strategy, run the experiments, and grow qualified conversations month over month.

  • Build our events and field motion — dinners, workshops, and meetups — into a repeatable pipeline engine.

  • Own our presence at the conferences that matter: which ones we show up to, the meetings we book around them, and the follow-through.

  • Drive content and search visibility — case studies, SEO, and showing up when buyers research with AI.

  • Amplify founder-led distribution on LinkedIn and build Hazel's voice in the DTC community.

  • Own measurement. Know exactly which motions generate pipeline and which are theater.

You'll work directly with the CEO and customers. A conversation you start today is a deal we close next week.

Who we're looking for

  • 2–6 years in growth, demand gen, field/event marketing, or a GTM generalist role, ideally at an early-stage startup.

  • A builder who does the work, not just directs it. You can run the event, write the post, brief the case study, and read the data yourself.

  • You've personally generated pipeline through content, events, and community, and you can point to the meetings and deals that came from it.

  • AI-native. You already use modern AI tools to do the work of a much bigger team.

  • You think in qualified conversations and pipeline, not impressions and follower counts.

  • You have experience in the e-commerce/DTC world

This isn't for you if…

  • You're wedded to one playbook. We'll try whatever generates pipeline, content, events, conferences, and things we haven't thought of yet, and drop what doesn't work.

  • You need a team underneath you to execute, rather than being the one who runs the work day to day.

  • You don't have high agency or urgency.
