Tasks
You will own Mello's revenue engine from day one - building pipeline, running deals end-to-end, and turning what works into a repeatable sales motion. This is a full-cycle sales role at an early-stage AI company: no hand-holding, real ownership, direct founder access.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Full-Cycle Sales Ownership:** Own deals from first touch to signed contract. You run outbound across LinkedIn, cold calling, and email; qualify prospects; lead discovery and product demos; handle objections; and drive to close.
- **Pipeline Generation:** Build your own top of funnel. You'll identify target accounts within our ICP, craft personalized outreach, and run multi-channel sequences that get responses. Volume and quality, not one or the other.
- **Playbook Building:** Turn your wins into repeatable processes. Best-performing outreach angles, call scripts, demo flows, and objection-handling get codified into the Mello Sales Playbook — so what works for you scales across the team.
- **CRM & Reporting:** Keep the pipeline clean and visible. You'll own CRM hygiene, track the metrics that matter (activity, conversion, pipeline velocity, win rates), and give the founding team a clear view of what's working.
Requirements
**Mindset**
- You're hungry - you want to close deals and you take losing personally
- You take full ownership of your pipeline and results
- You're comfortable with rejection and know how to push through it
- You aspire to build something, potentially your own company one day
**Experience**
- 1-3 years in B2B sales, business development, or a high-agency commercial role
- Experience running outbound and full-cycle deals (even if early-stage or informal)
- Comfortable selling to logistics, finance, or operations buyers - or fast learner in new verticals
- Strong intuition for how businesses buy and what moves a deal forward
- High integrity, strong work ethic, urgency
- Fluent in **German and English**
