FP&A Junior Analyst

<p><strong>The Role...</strong></p> <p>The <strong>Group FP&amp;A Junior Analyst</strong> is key member of the Group FP&amp;A team, responsible for supporting the financial planning, reporting and analysis requirements of Soho House &amp; Co.</p> <p>This role reports into the Group FP&amp;A Senior Manager and will work closely with the Group FP&amp;A Director and other cross – functional teams to ensure effective financial analysis and decision support.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to supporting the wider finance team.</p> <p><strong>Key roles and responsibilities include:</strong></p> <p><strong>Financial Reporting</strong></p> <ul> <li>Preparing and distributing the Daily Sales Report for the Group</li> <li>Consolidating and sharing the Weekly P&amp;L Report for the Group, reviewing commentaries from local teams and analysing performance to help guide business decisions</li> <li>Preparing the monthly Management Accounts, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to resolve any follow-up queries</li> <li>Supporting the preparation of the monthly Commercial Pack, providing commentary and insights after period close meetings with local teams</li> <li>Providing Quarterly Analytics data</li> </ul> <p><strong>Financial Systems Management</strong></p> <ul> <li>Overseeing the IBM Planning Analytics tool (interim), ensuring all required business inputs are provided on a timely basis and tool is up-to-date and operates efficiently</li> <li>Performing the required system processes for the IBM Planning Analytics tool at month-end</li> <li>Supporting in data reconciliations for new ERP</li> </ul> <p><strong>Budgeting and Forecasting</strong></p> <ul> <li>Coordinating the budget and forecast process, and supporting local teams with uploads into the system</li> <li>Supporting the Group FP&amp;A Senior Manager with scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to evaluate financial impact of various business decisions</li> <li>Sharing final sales output with the data team for automated daily reporting</li> </ul> <p><strong>Financial Analysis</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collating data and analysing key trends around member spend and footfall and providing actionable insights for business optimisation</li> <li>Supporting development of BI reporting</li> <li>Conducting ad hoc analysis of business performance, including key initiatives and projects, to support strategic decisions</li> </ul> <p><strong><em>Key skills</em></strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong systems capability required <ul> <li>Advanced Excel skills and solid PowerPoint skills expected</li> <li>Experience in handling large amounts of data required</li> <li>Knowledge of/ experience using IBM Planning Analytics desired (or other similar planning tools)</li> <li>Experience of using business intelligence / reporting tools desired</li> </ul> </li> <li>Excellent attention to detail</li> <li>Ability to communicate key messages in a simple, accessible and concise format</li> <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Keen interest in hospitality, retail, consumer sector desired</li> </ul> <p><strong><em>Qualifications/ Experience</em></strong></p> <ul> <li>Educated to degree level</li> <li>Experience from Management Consultancy or Accountancy role</li> <li>Previous FP&amp;A experience preferred but not essential</li> <li>Accounting/ Financial qualification started – ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or other)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Benefits…</strong><br>Soho House offers competitive compensation packages that feature global benefits and perks.
