FPGA Design Engineer

Description: We are seeking a skilled FPGA Design Engineer to join our team focused on developing high-performance  solutions for a range of applications, including power electronics, control systems, and advanced automation. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing FPGA-based systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop FPGA architectures and digital circuits tailored for applications such as renewable energy systems, electric vehicles, and industrial automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications, contributing to innovative solutions in the field of power and energy management.
  • Perform simulations and validation of designs to ensure functionality and performance under varying operational conditions.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of FPGA designs in laboratory and field environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Document design processes, test results, and project progress, providing clear communication to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in FPGA design and development using VHDL or Verilog.
  • Familiarity with FPGA development tools (e.g., Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus).
  • Experience in digital signal processing (DSP) and high-speed design.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in using simulation and verification tools such as ModelSim or Questa.
  • Strong understanding of digital design principles and methodologies, with the ability to apply best practices in FPGA design.
  • Experience with hardware debugging tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) for thorough validation of designs.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, Ethernet) relevant to embedded systems applications.

Additional Requirements:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities, able to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively, meeting project deadlines.
