Your role

As a Senior Functional Analyst, you play a key role in translating business needs into clear and structured functional solutions. You work closely with stakeholders and development teams to ensure high-quality delivery within agreed timelines.

You are responsible for delivering:

• High-quality analysis documentation

• Software requirements specifications (including diagrams and detailed analysis)

• Data models

• Well-defined user stories

• Comprehensive test plans and test cases

Your profile

• Strong functional and business analysis skills, with the ability to quickly understand complex environments

• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) to interact effectively with business and technical teams

• A solution-oriented and customer-focused mindset

• Ability to abstract and structure complex information

• Comfortable working in changing business environments

• Team player who integrates easily and can coach or guide junior profiles

Methodologies & Ways of Working

• Solid experience with Agile / Scrum environments

• Strong expertise in:

  • Functional analysis (UML)

  • Test analysis & design

  • BPMN

• Experience with tools such as Confluence and JIRA

Technical Awareness

While this is not a technical role, you are comfortable interacting with technical teams and concepts, including:

• APIs, data mappings, business models, services, and batch processing

• Understanding of environments based on technologies such as Java (J2EE, Java 8), Oracle, Hibernate, Maven, Git, JUnit, Selenium

• Basic knowledge of SQL and customer journey mapping is a plus.

Languages

• French or Dutch: professional proficiency (spoken and written)

• English: strong written communication skills (documentation)

• Knowledge of the second national language is an asset
