Are you a passionate and dedicated French Teacher seeking a new opportunity in a thriving school environment?

A highly regarded secondary school in the London Borough of Ealing is seeking a well-qualified French Teacher to join their successful Modern Foreign Languages department on a part-time basis from January 2025. This is a temporary position initially, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:

• You will be responsible for teaching French to students across Key Stage 3 and 4 (ages 11-16).
• You will plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to a range of learning styles.
• You will assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• You will contribute to the development of departmental resources and schemes of work.
• You will be expected to participate in departmental meetings and school events.

The Ideal Candidate:

• You will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• You will have a strong academic background in French, with excellent subject knowledge.
• You will have proven experience of teaching French at Key Stage 3 and 4.
• You will be a creative and enthusiastic teacher with a passion for your subject.
• You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• You will be committed to high standards of teaching and learning.
• You will be able to work effectively as part of a team.
