FRISCO - Environmental Scientist

<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Will be conducting environmental studies and investigations, e.g.&nbsp; environmental site assessments (Phase I and Phase II), wetland delineations, threatened and endangered species habitat assessments and surveys.</li> <li>Assist multiple project tasks or projects across simultaneous assignments for both private and public clients across multiple sectors.</li> <li>Review environmental data, reports, permits, and related materials for compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements and advise clients accordingly.</li> <li>Assist clients with permit coordination, acquisition, compliance, and coordination with regulatory agencies.</li> <li>A balanced mix of field and office work.</li> <li>Communicate scientific, technical, and regulatory information and guidance to the project team.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, geology, biology, ecology, rangeland science, wildlife management, or related field.</li> <li>0-3 years field experience.</li> <li>Organizational and business-technical writing skills.</li> <li>Effective time-management, written communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Professional attitude and good decision-making skills.</li> <li>Ability to work effectively in team situations and establish strong relationships with other teams, both internal and external.</li> <li>Proficient with MS Office (e.g., Word, Excel), Adobe.</li> <li>Ability and willingness to conduct fieldwork as needed.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
