This role will contribute heavily to the buildout and iteration of LeafLink’s existing and emerging systems, powering an ever-expanding set of product offerings. As a member of our engineering team, you will be in a position to have a direct, lasting impact everywhere that technology powers our business. LeafLink is currently gearing up to tackle a large-scale platform overhaul that will strengthen our position as a technical leader within the industry. This role comes with the opportunity to be a high performer within a department that’s fast-paced, dynamic, and quickly growing in all areas.<br><br><strong>What You’ll Be Doing</strong></div> <ul> <li>Design, build, and maintain scalable frontend applications using<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span><strong>Vue 3</strong>,<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span><strong>TypeScript</strong>, and modern JavaScript tooling.</li> <li>Own complex frontend features from technical design through production release.</li> <li>Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into high-quality user experiences.</li> <li>Build reusable components, patterns, and frontend architecture that improve developer velocity.</li> <li>Improve application performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and reliability.</li> <li>Partner with backend engineers on API design, data contracts, error handling, and integration patterns.</li> <li>Write high-quality tests using tools such as<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span><strong>Vitest</strong>,<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span><strong>Vue Test Utils</strong>,<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span><strong>Playwright</strong>, or similar.</li> <li>Participate in code reviews and provide thoughtful, constructive feedback.</li> <li>Mentor engineers and help establish frontend best practices across the team.</li> <li>Evaluate and introduce modern frontend technologies where they provide clear business or engineering value.</li> <li>Contribute to CI/CD improvements, observability, monitoring, and frontend release quality.</li> <li>Help maintain strong standards around security, privacy, and safe handling of user data.</li> </ul> <div><br><strong>What You’ll Bring to the Team</strong></div> <ul> <li>5+ years working in rich, complex, and ever-evolving front-end user experiences</li> <li>Proven track record of practical, thoughtful problem-solving</li> <li>Strong professional experience building production web applications.</li> <li>Deep experience with<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span><strong>Vue.js</strong>, preferably<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span><strong>Vue 3</strong><span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span>and the Composition API.</li> <li>Strong proficiency with<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span><strong>TypeScript</strong>, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.</li> <li>Experience with modern frontend tooling such as<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span><strong>Vite</strong>,<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span><strong>ESBuild</strong>,<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span><strong>pnpm/npm/yarn</strong>, and modern build pipelines.</li> <li>Experience with state management patterns and libraries such as<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span><strong>Pinia</strong>, Vuex, or equivalent.</li> <li>Strong understanding of component architecture, design systems, and reusable UI patterns.</li> <li>Experience integrating frontend applications with REST, GraphQL, or event-driven APIs.</li> <li>Strong testing experience, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.</li> <li>Understanding of frontend performance optimization, bundle analysis, caching, lazy loading, and Core Web Vitals.</li> <li>Familiarity with accessibility standards such as<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span><strong>WCAG</strong><span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span>and semantic HTML.</li> <li>Experience working in agile development environments with cross-functional teams.</li> <li>Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical tradeoffs clearly.</li> <li>Proven ability to lead technical initiatives with minimal supervision.</li> <li>Experience building applications and working with underlying systems that work within fully containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) a plus</li> <li>An active member of the open source and New York tech community a plus</li> <li>An interest in the cannabis industry and/or the LeafLink brand</li> </ul> <h2><strong>LeafLink Perks &amp;
