This internship is designed to give you hands-on full-stack development experience while working with a modern tech stack in a collaborative, supportive environment. What you’ll do As a Full Stack Engineer Intern, you will contribute to real product work while learning best practices from experienced engineers: <ul> <li>Collaborate with engineers to design, build, and ship scalable web applications</li> <li>Work on both front-end and back-end features using React, Java, and Node.js</li> <li>Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and work with SQL/NoSQL databases</li> <li>Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance improvements</li> <li>Learn and apply modern engineering practices (Agile/Scrum, clean code, CI/CD)</li> <li>Help improve documentation and contribute to team ways of working</li> </ul>   What we’re looking for We’re looking for a curious, motivated intern who enjoys building software and learning quickly. <ul> <li>Currently enrolled in a Bachelor (HBO/WO) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field</li> <li>Familiarity with React and at least one backend language/framework (Java and/or Node.js)</li> <li>Basic understanding of databases (SQL or NoSQL) and APIs (REST)</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset</li> <li>Clear communication skills and comfort working in a team</li> </ul> Must-have (Architecture & Design Fundamentals) <ul> <li>Basic understanding of object-oriented design and code structure (classes, objects, interfaces; inheritance vs. composition)</li> <li>Familiar with the SOLID principles and able to apply them in practical code design</li> </ul> Nice to have <ul> <li>Experience with AWS (or other cloud platforms)</li> <li>Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, or containerization</li> <li>Familiarity with system design basics (layered architecture, modular design, dependency injection)</li> <li>Experience with TypeScript, state management, or backend frameworks</li> <li>Any prior internship, project, or open-source contribution</li> </ul> What you’ll gain <ul> <li>Hands-on experience delivering features in a real production environment</li> <li>Mentorship from experienced engineers and exposure to cross-functional collaboration</li> <li>Practical skills across front-end, back-end, cloud, and delivery practices (CI/CD)</li> <li>A stronger foundation in software architecture, clean code, and design principles</li> <li>A portfolio of real contributions you can showcase in future interviews</li> <li>A vibrant Amsterdam office environment with a diverse and collaborative culture</li> </ul> </div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div> Lucid Motors is committed to maintaining a safe and trustworthy environment.
