Our providers engage with patients early and our care navigators guide patients through the entire maternal episode of care, offering 24x7 support via our secure virtual platform.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Position Overview:</strong><strong><br></strong>A Junior Full Stack Engineer at our early Series A startup helps scale a growing product used by real customers. This role blends hands-on development with learning best practices for reliability, performance, and maintainability, while working closely with senior engineers, product, and design.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Build and maintain backend and GraphQL APIs using Node.js</li> <li>Develop and maintain web and mobile features with React.js and React Native</li> <li>Work directly with product and design to ship features quickly</li> <li>Debug issues across the stack and improve performance</li> <li>Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews</li> <li>Help deploy and monitor applications in production</li> <li>Work with databases (SQL or NoSQL) to read and write data</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Solid foundation in JavaScript / TypeScript</li> <li>Experience with Node.js and modern frontend frameworks</li> <li>Comfortable working across frontend and backend</li> <li>Familiarity with REST/SOAP/GraphQL and databases</li> <li>Eager to learn, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity</li> <li>Git version control basics &amp; Basic CI/CD knowledge</li> </ul> <p><strong>About you:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Aligned with SimpliFed’s mission.</li> <li>Hankering to put the relationships back in medicine</li> <li>A posture towards execution - a true operator willing to both develop the strategy and execute it.</li> <li>Ability to work remotely and communicate asynchronously via slack and email, along with thriving in virtual meetings.&nbsp;</li> <li>Does not suffer in silence: willingness to give it a shot but then reach out for help as needed and not waiting too long.</li> <li>Leans into items they are uncomfortable with, not avoid it.&nbsp;</li> <li>Defers to safe and secure security protocols always to protect SimpliFed’s patients and providers.</li> <li>High personal integrity to always do the right thing for the families that we are honored to serve.</li> <li>Respect and high tolerance for bureaucracy, along with an optimistic perspective on how to operate within the bureaucratic “rules” and the healthcare regulatory environment.</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment.</li> <li>Have a valid Drivers License and REAL ID</li> <li>Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis</li> </ul> <p>Base salary: $95,000</p> <p><strong>SimpliFed is an equal opportunity employer.
