We’re a company in hyper growth fase, with a robust product that thousands of people use to setup their remote workspaces.</p> <p>We are looking for someone who will able to join our team of both remote and hybrid engineers working on both front-end and back-end positions in making the right architectural decision, and bringing our platform to the next level.</p> <p>Together with your team you will work on building best-in-class product experiences for customers. You will be working together with the team create and design your own re-usable APIs and components.</p> <p>Our core platform is built on Laravel (backend) and React.js (frontend). We are constantly coming up with new features to continue building our platform and expand our product offering.</p> <p><strong>Required Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>At least a Bachelor with background in tech or equivalent based on work experience</li> <li>6+ years work experience with the&nbsp;<strong>Laravel and React frameworks</strong></li> <li>Experience building applications with Javascript/Typescript, PHP, HTML5, CSS and MySQL 8</li> <li>Experience mentoring and supporting the professional growth of fellow engineers</li> <li>Experience working with large development teams</li> <li>Clearly explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences</li> <li>Strong track record of leading technical projects and coordinating teams of 3+ engineer</li> <li>Passionate about usability, user experience, beauty and elegance of UI's</li> <li>Eager to learn, discuss and share knowledge with the rest of the teams</li> <li>Nice to have: knowledge of Kubernetes,&nbsp;Docker, and other tools user in DevOps</li> <li>Absolute fan of TDD and CI/CD pipelines</li> <li>Background in product-based companies with multiple product and engineering teams</li> <li>Proven track record of driving engineering initiatives that impacted other teams or the wider organization</li> </ul> <p><strong>The Right Mindset</strong></p> <ul> <li>You’re an engineer, always interested in new technologies, pushing your boundaries and challenging others.</li> <li>You're fluent in business&nbsp;English, both written and verbal</li> <li>Critical thinking and initiative: Hands-on, nothing-is-impossible mindset</li> <li>Enjoy working with teams with multidisciplinary backgrounds</li> <li>Experience working in dynamic environments, such as a startup or scaleup environment</li> <li>Strong user-orientation and communication skills</li> <li>Strong presentation skills</li> <li>Pro-active attitude, go-get mentality</li> <li>Analytical, troubleshooting skills</li> <li>Structured, able to clearly define, prioritize and plan your own tasks</li> <li>Commitment to deliver quality (first time right) and on-time</li> <li>Motivated and enthusiastic team player, supporting your colleagues</li> <li>Keen to learn and further develop your expertise</li> </ul> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Engineering at Workwize:</span></strong></p> <p>Within this role you will get to make a positive impact and directly contribute to the improvement of remote working for companies around the world.
