<h2>Full-Stack Engineer (TypeScript)</h2> <h3>Company</h3> <p>Orcrist builds the Orcrist Intelligence Platform (OIP), a secure, Kubernetes-native data intelligence product delivered as SaaS or self-hosted/on-prem—including air-gapped deployments. We serve defense, law-enforcement, and enterprise teams that rely on mission-ready software.</p> <h3>Role</h3> <p>Join the Core squad that owns OIP’s web app, APIs, and admin experiences. You’ll ship end-to-end TypeScript features (Next.js + Node.js/tRPC), harden IAM UX, and ensure secure-by-default workflows used by every customer.</p> <h3>What you'll do</h3> <ul> <li>Build and maintain admin consoles, IAM flows, notifications, and collaboration features.</li> <li>Implement secure auth patterns with Keycloak/OpenFGA and expose tamper-evident audit views.</li> <li>Deliver accessible, performant React components with robust testing and telemetry.</li> <li>Participate in on-call, observability, and incident response for Core services.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with Design, Platform, and customer-facing teams to prioritize impact.</li> </ul> <h3>About you</h3> <ul> <li>3–7 years building production-grade TypeScript applications across frontend + backend.</li> <li>Strong experience with React/Next.js, Node.js/tRPC (or similar), and modern testing tools.</li> <li>Familiar with OAuth2/OIDC, RBAC/ABAC, and secure UI patterns.</li> <li>Comfortable with Kubernetes/GitOps workflows and participating in on-call rotations.</li> <li>Eligible to work in Germany; EU/NATO citizenship preferred for export control.</li> </ul> <h3>Nice-to-haves</h3> <ul> <li>Experience with real-time collaboration (WebSockets, CRDTs), accessibility, or design systems.</li> <li>Exposure to Temporal.io, graph/map visualization, or regulated industry products.</li> <li>German language (B1+) or prior work with defense/law-enforcement customers.</li> </ul> <h3>What We Offer</h3> <ul> <li>Modern TypeScript stack, real security + observability challenges, and high autonomy.</li> <li>Remote-first in Germany, hybrid office in Berlin, 30 days vacation, equipment budget.</li> <li>Mission-driven work with tangible impact on public safety and national security.</li> </ul>
