Full Stack Product Engineer

<p><strong>LTS</strong> is seeking a <strong>Full-Stack Product Engineer</strong> to join a small, senior engineering team applying frontier AI to one of the most consequential legacy systems still running in production today.</p> <p>The mission: build agents that read, translate, and modernize a decades-old codebase that millions of people quietly depend on. The work has executive backing, real users, and a customer who knows exactly what they’re buying. Specifics shared once we’re talking.</p> <p>The team is small by design. Every seat carries unusual leverage, and we hire people who are already deep in this work. We use AI tooling natively — agents in parallel, model as collaborator, no exceptions.</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p> <p>The Full-Stack Product Engineer takes agent capability and turns it into product. End-to-end feature delivery across the surfaces engineers actually use to do their work — code understanding, code translation, modernization authoring. Pairs tightly with the Principal Designer in code: Designer absorbs visual-heavy surfaces, the Full-Stack Engineer owns logic-heavy surfaces (authoring, review, agent integration).</p> <ul> <li>End-to-end feature delivery across the product — code understanding, code translation, modernization authoring, review surfaces.</li> <li>Build the frontend in modern React with a serverless TypeScript backend.</li> <li>Pair tightly with the Principal Designer in code — Designer absorbs visual-heavy surfaces, the Full-Stack Engineer owns logic-heavy surfaces (authoring, review, agent integration).</li> <li>Write specs, ship, watch usage, iterate; close the loop from design through deploy.</li> <li>Push back on a spec you think is wrong before writing the code.</li> <li>Own the product-quality bar across the surfaces you ship — performance, accessibility, polish, and the moment-to-moment feel.</li> <li>Integrate agent output into product surfaces in a way that respects both engineering correctness and user trust.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We’re Looking For:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of professional full-stack engineering experience; equivalent experience may substitute for the degree requirement.</li> <li>Track record of shipped product features that can be walked through in detail — including how the design changed once real users got their hands on it.</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.</li> <li>Senior full-stack engineer; both frontend and backend are part of the daily job.</li> <li>Modern React (hooks, suspense, recent patterns); strong TypeScript fluency.</li> <li>Comfort across a serverless cloud backend: typed RPC, ORM-level work, AWS or comparable.</li> <li>Density of shipped work — recent product features that real users used, with measurable iteration after launch.</li> <li>Pushes back on a spec when wrong; doesn’t wait for permission to ship.</li> <li>Heavy native use of AI tooling: subagents, model as collaborator.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience in a remote work environment.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to Have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Prior developer-facing or technical-user-facing products (IDEs, observability tools, internal platforms).</li> <li>Experience visualizing complex graphs or code relationships (call graphs, dependency trees, AST views).</li> <li>Design sense good enough to ship polished UI without a designer on everyday work.</li> <li>Experience pairing with a designer directly in code rather than via Figma handoff.</li> <li>Public open-source work or shipped side projects with visible craft.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What’s in it for you?</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>The opportunity to support high visibility federal missions in IT and healthcare</li> <li>A culture that values innovation, growth, collaboration, and quality</li> <li>Access to cutting-edge tools and technologies</li> <li>Comprehensive benefits for you and your family</li> <li>A career path that rewards ambition and performance</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>If&nbsp;you’re&nbsp;ready to push boundaries, sharpen your skills, and join a team that is passionate about building&nbsp;what’s&nbsp;next,&nbsp;we’d&nbsp;love to meet you.
