So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.</span></p></div><p>Wolt is looking for a <strong>Senior Full-Stack Engineer</strong> to join our Promotions team and help build the systems that power how merchants grow through offers, discounts, and incentives on our platform.</p> <p>Promotions at Wolt and DoorDash play a critical role in driving growth for restaurants and brands, enabling them to attract customers, increase conversion, and optimize performance through targeted incentives. This team builds both the <strong>platform and user-facing tools</strong> that allow partners to create, manage, and measure promotions effectively.</p> <p>In this role, you’ll work across the stack to build scalable systems and intuitive product experiences, while contributing to complex, cross-functional initiatives that span multiple teams and domains.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <table style="width: 99.9927%; height: 905.306px;"> <tbody> <tr style="height: 905.306px;"> <td style="width: 99.0798%; height: 905.306px;"> <h2>What you’ll be doing</h2> <ul> <li>Build and evolve <strong>end-to-end promotions systems</strong>, from backend services to user-facing tools used by merchants and internal teams.</li> <li>Design and implement scalable backend services, working with technologies such as Kotlin and Python and Go.</li> <li>Develop high-quality <strong>web applications using React</strong>, focused on usability and performance.</li> <li>Take ownership of <strong>large, cross-team initiatives</strong>, driving them from ideation through planning, alignment, and delivery.</li> <li>Work closely with product, design, and business stakeholders to shape solutions and ensure successful outcomes.</li> <li>Operate effectively in <strong>ambiguous environments</strong>, bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to complex problem spaces.</li> <li>Contribute to improving engineering practices, tooling, and development workflows across the team</li> <li>You’ll have strong ownership, work closely with cross-functional teams across Europe and the US, and be part of a <strong>diverse and international team</strong> that values collaboration and continuous improvement</li> <li>Daily usage of AI tools</li> </ul> <p>This position is based in <strong>London</strong>&nbsp;</p> <h2>Our humble expectations*&nbsp;</h2> <p>We’re looking for someone who is both a strong hands-on engineer and a driver of alignment and execution.</p> <h3><strong>Core requirements</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Strong <strong>full-stack engineering experience</strong>, with a solid backend foundation.</li> <li>Strong experience with <strong>React</strong> and building product-facing web applications.</li> <li>Experience with <strong>Kotlin, Python and or Go </strong>in production environments is strongly preferred.</li> <li>Proven ability to <strong>take ownership in ambiguous environments</strong>, driving initiatives from idea to delivery.</li> <li>Experience leading <strong>cross-team projects</strong>, including planning, stakeholder alignment, and execution.</li> <li>Strong communication skills, with the ability to gather feedback, handle differing perspectives, and align stakeholders.</li> <li>Experience working with <strong>AI-assisted development tools</strong> (e.g., Codex, Claude, agent-based workflows) to improve speed and quality.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Nice to have</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Experience with <strong>native iOS and/or Android development</strong>.</li> </ul> <h2>What we offer</h2> <p>At Wolt, this role gives you the opportunity to build products that are <strong>directly used by restaurants and brands to grow their business</strong>.
