About the role

General programming tasks for PC/console game development

Specifically:

  • Design, implementation, and maintenance of core systems for game development
  • Programming related to characters, UI, gimmicks, online features, events, and sound
  • Graphics programming, including shaders, post-effects, and design tools
  • Design, implementation, and maintenance of in-house tools

Requirements

Must-have:

  • 5+ years of professional programming experience in C++ or C#
  • 5+ years of programming experience on PC, console, or smartphone game projects
  • 3+ years of development experience using Unreal Engine, Unity, or proprietary game engines

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience in master-up (final submission) for PC/console/smartphone game projects
  • Leadership experience within a game project, managing a team of 3 or more members
  • 3+ years of experience in scheduling and task management within your work area
  • Experience in project management
  • Knowledge of game AI (including machine learning)

  • Passion for games and the ability to appreciate SNK’s IP
  • Self-driven, with the ability to understand the overall project and proactively make technical proposals
  • Strong willingness to learn and adopt the latest technologies
  • Ability to work collaboratively and maintain harmony within a large team

Working Hours

9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (7.5 hours of actual work per day)

Note: The above is an estimated working time, as this position is subject to a specialized discretionary labor system.

Holidays & Leave

  • Full five-day workweek (Saturday and Sunday off)
  • National holidays, summer vacation, and year-end/New Year holidays
  • Approximately 125 annual holidays
  • Paid leave: Up to 12 days granted upon joining (number of days varies depending on the month of hire)
