Attain Sports owns and manages four baseball teams: the Baltimore Orioles Double-A affiliate Chesapeake Baysox, the Baltimore Orioles High-A affiliate Frederick Keys, the MLB Draft League Aberdeen IronBirds, and the Atlantic League Professional Baseball Club Spire City Ghost Hounds. Additionally, Attain Sports is an owner of the United Soccer League (USL) Championship Club Loudoun United FC.  </div><div>Start Date: April/May 2026</div> <div>End Date: September 2026 (school schedule permitting)</div> <div>Compensation: Unpaid; College Credit </div> <div>Job Description</div> <div>The Frederick Keys Gameday Promotional Team is a part-time internship designed only for current university students who will be receiving college credit for participation in this internship. The Gameday and Promotions Intern will be gaining real-world experience with responsibilities within the organization. They will receive the opportunity to work with an experienced marketing team, build a strong professional network, and create a memorable game experience for all fans.</div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div>General Responsibilities</div>   <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Engage with fans and improve fan experience in real-time based on feedback</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Learn and improve customer service skills in a sports environment</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Gain knowledge and familiarity in planning and executing fan experience and fan touch points</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Work Frederick Keys home games as directed by the Senior Marketing and Gameday Manager</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Spend time shadowing and learning from top-tier marketing and press box staff, as directed by the Senior Marketing and Gameday Manager</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Assist with the execution of outside events such as Scout Night and Baseball Camp</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Represent the organization, as needed, at outside events and appearances</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Represent the organization, as needed, as our mascot Keyote</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">As part of a group, pitch an improvement or addition for a current theme night. If chosen, adhere to a timeline, assist with creation of a game script, and execute a show in house.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">All other duties assigned by Senior Marketing and Gameday Manager and General Manager of the Keys</li> </ul>   <div> </div> <div>Game Day Responsibilities</div>   <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Execute pre-game, in-game, and post-game promotions</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Help raise money for the Keys Care charity via 50-50 raffle and Wheel of Fun</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Assist with social media coverage of Frederick Keys home games</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Work as a handler of our mascot Keyote to ensure he makes his marks and cues</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Engage with fans and ensure top customer service throughout the stadium</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Assist with the coordination and execution of theme nights </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Work in all aspects of minor league baseball to gain an understanding of the business</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Work with ushers and Keyote to encourage fan interest and excitement in the game during key moments</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Assist with organization and execution of Kids Run the Bases after every home game</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Assist with gate entry and exit giveaways, as needed</li> </ul>     <div>Qualifications</div>   <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">College sophomores, juniors, seniors, or graduate students working for academic credit in Sport Management, Marketing, Communication, or Business</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Ability to work event nights, weekends, and holidays as required</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">A customer service background is preferred</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Ability to uphold company and Attain customer service standards</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Individual must be energetic, enthusiastic, and a dedicated team player</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and eager to contribute to an exciting game day atmosphere</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Creative and enthusiastic with fresh ideas on how to enhance the fan experience</li> </ul>    <div class="content-conclusion">Attain Sports is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
