Gaming Writer

We're looking for passionate and knowledgeable freelance gaming writers who can create timely, engaging content around the biggest stories, releases, trends, and conversations in the gaming industry. This role goes beyond writing articles—it's about connecting with a dedicated gaming audience and driving meaningful readership through insightful content.

Your Responsibilities

• Monitor gaming news cycles, trending topics and community conversations to surface timely content opportunities
• Work closely with editors and writers to align social distribution with editorial priorities and publishing schedules
• Comfortable working independently while meeting deadlines
• Ensure timely publication of relevant content aligned with SEO and engagement goals
• Follow editorial and formatting guidelines rigorously

Experience and Skills

• At least 2 years experience in digital journalism or online publishing
• Ability to independently write and publish clean, accurate content on tight deadlines
• Strong understanding of gaming culture, internet trends, memes, and online communities
• Passion for video games, entertainment, and digital storytelling
• Familiarity with SEO and CMS tools
