You won’t just diagnose and fix problems — you’ll also educate homeowners, recommend upgrades, and close the sale on the spot.</p> <h3 data-start="906" data-end="926">🔧 Role Overview</h3> <p data-start="928" data-end="1141">If you're mechanically inclined, love working with your hands, AND have sales or consultative experience, this is your chance to blend both into one fulfilling job. As a <strong data-start="1098" data-end="1132">Garage Door Sales &amp; Technician</strong>, you’ll:</p> <ul data-start="1143" data-end="2014"> <li data-start="1143" data-end="1280"> <p data-start="1145" data-end="1280">Diagnose and fix technical issues on residential &amp; commercial garage doors (springs, cables, openers, panels, commercial doors, etc.)</p> </li> <li data-start="1281" data-end="1407"> <p data-start="1283" data-end="1407">Handle installations, maintenance (we use detailed inspections like 24‐point safety checks) and repairs to high standards.</p> </li> <li data-start="1408" data-end="1581"> <p data-start="1410" data-end="1581">Engage with customers: understand their needs, explain solutions, offer options, and help them pick the best door/opening system or component for their home or business.</p> </li> <li data-start="1582" data-end="1671"> <p data-start="1584" data-end="1671">Upsell and recommend premium or additional services/products when it adds real value.</p> </li> <li data-start="1672" data-end="1801"> <p data-start="1674" data-end="1801">Keep accurate records: <em data-start="1697" data-end="1703">what</em> you did, <em data-start="1713" data-end="1718">why</em>, photos/notes, so quality and safety are maintained and follow‐ups run smoothly.</p> </li> <li data-start="1802" data-end="1894"> <p data-start="1804" data-end="1894">Collaborate with your team for scheduling, coordinating larger installs, or emergencies.</p> </li> <li data-start="1895" data-end="2014"> <p data-start="1897" data-end="2014">Uphold all safety rules and best practices.
