A General crewmember shall perform such job duties and essential functions as listed below as well as any duties and functions as directed by the vessel Master and/or Vessel Manager.
Deck Hand: All crewmembers must have the physical abilities to perform the essential functions and normal customary duties of a deckhand. These duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Operate fishing gear and
- Mend and repair pots, nets, etc.
- Stand a navigational night watch.
- Maintain gear and vessel and help with any repairs.
- Maintain safety
- Wear life vests while the vessel is engaged in
- Prepare meals or assist in galley.
- When in port, verify that the vessel is properly tied
- Help with offloading or backloading of products to or from the vessel.
- Participate in safety drills.
- Obtain at personal expense a yearly fishing license issued by the State of
