About the role
- Visual review of parts for rust or heavy oil/grease.
- Loading and unloading products from the lines.
- Responsible for initial processing of the products and packaging to prepare the product for shipment.
- Packing parts into boxes.
- Assuring that all products are packed correctly according to work instructions and ready to ship.
- Maintain proficiency and a safe clean work area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for Safety, Quality, and Production Efficiency. The job may include inspecting. Lifting. Moving (with forklift or by hand, cleaning, plugging, hanging, taking off, touching up, strapping/banding, packaging, labeling, and documenting paperwork for parts being processed. Must ensure all products are packed correctly and ready to be shipped per customer’s instructions.
Work Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly. Must be able to stand, bend, twist, pull, reach, squat, and sit for extended periods of time. During loading and unloading of parts, care must be given to the handling of products to ensure safety for all employees
