Cruise represents one of the most exciting and high-growth verticals at Fora. This leader will own the Cruise P&amp;L, drive advisor success, deepen supplier partnerships, and lead both near-term operations and long-term growth strategy.</p> <p>Reporting to the CEO and managing a small team, this role combines commercial leadership, operational rigor, and strategic thinking. You'll partner cross-functionally with teams across product, tech, marketing, and advisor experience to elevate Fora as the leading platform for cruise advisors—and ultimately travelers.</p> <h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Act as the General Manager of Cruise, owning revenue, margin, and full P&amp;L accountability</li> <li>Build and execute the long-term strategy to position Fora as the leading modern cruise platform</li> <li>Lead the day-to-day Cruise operation, ensuring systems, support, and processes run smoothly and scale effectively</li> <li>Manage and develop a growing Cruise team&nbsp;</li> <li>Deepen supplier relationships to unlock strategic benefits: preferred commission tiers, co-op marketing programs, group rates, and exclusive offers</li> <li>Drive advisor engagement through high-impact training, support, FAM programs, and performance tracking</li> <li>Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Tech, Marketing, Advisor Experience) to launch new programs, tools, and campaigns</li> <li>Leverage data to track KPIs, identify opportunities, and optimize business decisions</li> <li>Lead seasonal initiatives like Wave Season with clear planning, supplier coordination, and execution</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Requirements</strong></h2> <ul> <li>8–12+ years of experience with proven commercial ownership (GM, Category Head, P&amp;L leadership roles)</li> <li>Track record of scaling a business or business line, with clear revenue and margin impact</li> <li>Deep understanding of the cruise or broader travel industry, including supplier dynamics, commission structures, and advisor ecosystems</li> <li>Strong leadership experience; has directly managed teams and built org structures</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives involving product, operations, marketing, and tech</li> <li>Highly data-fluent: comfortable analyzing performance metrics and making insight-driven decisions</li> <li>Strong relationship-building skills; able to credibly represent Fora to suppliers and advisors</li> <li>Based in or willing to relocate to NYC</li> <li>Authorized to work in the U.S.</li> </ul> <h3>Strongly Preferred</h3> <ul> <li>Experience in startup or high-growth environments</li> <li>Exposure to advisor community-building or ambassador programs</li> <li>Familiarity with travel tech platforms, CRM tools, or digital booking systems</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><h2><strong>Our Values</strong></h2> <p><strong>We’re forging our own path</strong></p> <p>Fora has always been about driving change within the industry.
