As a German Content Moderator, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a safe, respectful, and positive online environment for German-speaking users by carefully reviewing user-generated content. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that all content aligns with the platform’s community guidelines and company policies, thereby upholding the integrity and quality of the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, moderate, and evaluate content on social media platforms in German to ensure adherence to community standards.
• Classify and make accurate moderation decisions based on established guidelines.
• Identify and escalate inappropriate or harmful content to relevant teams promptly.
• Provide feedback and insights on content trends and user behavior to enhance moderation strategies.
• Collaborate with the moderation team to improve processes and maintain high-quality standards.
• Stay updated on company policies and industry best practices related to content moderation.

Requirements

• Exceptional fluency in German (written and spoken) is essential.
• A minimum of B2 in English proficiency is mandatory.
• Previous experience in content moderation, especially for social media platforms, is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to apply moderation guidelines consistently.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey moderation decisions and collaborate with teams.
• Ability to handle sensitive content with discretion and professionalism.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and moderation tools is a plus.
• Willingness to live and work in Greece and adapt to a new cultural environment.
