Sr. GIS Developer

<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The GIS Developer will assist in the development, implementation, maintenance, and use of GIS technology to the Engineering department by performing the following essential job duties:</p> <p>· Develop and maintain tools using Python and ArcPy to execute custom geoprocessing tasks</p> <p>· Deploy Geoprocessing Services to ArcGIS Enterprise</p> <p>· Develop and maintain custom widgets and/or code using JavaScript for Esri Web Experience Builder/ Web App Builder Developer Edition</p> <p>· Develop and maintain custom Esri Web Experience Builder/ Web App Builder Developer Edition</p> <p>· Develop and maintain Python scripts for ArcGIS Server and Portal</p> <p>· Publish web services (including map, feature, and geoprocessing services) to ArcGIS Enterprise</p> <p>· Maintain well-documented code base, keep code up to date in source control software</p> <p>· Participate in design, programming, testing, implementation, administration and maintenance of GIS applications, tools and associated databases</p> <p>· Perform complex professional duties in support of enterprise and departmental GIS applications, tools, and databases</p> <p><strong>Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</strong></p> <p>· Strong problem-solving, organizational skills and the ability to multi-task</p> <p>· Have excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done, especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal departmental pressures</p> <p>· Must have the ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision</p> <p><strong>Experience</strong>:</p> <p>· Experience with ArcGIS Platform, ArcGIS Portal/ArcGIS Online, Python geoprocessing scripts and similar tools, and working with data in ArcSDE/SQL Server</p> <p>· Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and ArcGIS Experience Builder and Web AppBuilder development.</p> <p>· Experience with creating, deploying, and consuming ArcGIS Geoprocessing tools</p> <p>· Experienced in Database/SQL and bonus points for SQL Server GIS</p> <p><strong>Education:</strong></p> <p>· Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Geography, or a related field</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
