This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial records, strong controls, and timely month‑end close, while supporting continuous improvement and collaboration across Finance teams.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>What you'll be doing:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Perform general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.</li> <li>Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities in line with defined timelines.</li> <li>Ensure accurate and timely posting of accounting entries in the ERP system.</li> <li>Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and audit standards.</li> <li>Maintain appropriate documentation and audit trails for internal and external audits.</li> <li>Support financial reporting and variance analysis, identifying unusual transactions or trends.</li> <li>Liaise with other Finance functions (PTP, OTC, Treasury, Tax) to resolve accounting issues.</li> <li>Follow standard operating procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.</li> <li>Support ad‑hoc accounting and reporting requests as required.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Who you'll be working with:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Finance Shared Services and Record‑to‑Report (RTR) teams</li> <li>Other Finance functions, including PTP, OTC, Treasury and Tax</li> <li>Internal and external auditors</li> <li>Finance stakeholders across the business</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>What you'll need:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.</li> <li>Previous experience in an accounting or RTR role within a Shared Services or corporate environment (preferred).</li> <li>Proven experience performing intercompany reconciliations.</li> <li>Solid understanding of accounting principles, with exposure to Spanish GAAP and IFRS (including IFRS 16).</li> <li>Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Maconomy, or similar).</li> <li>Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.</li> <li>High attention to detail and accuracy.</li> <li>Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.</li> <li>Clear and professional communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.</li> <li>Ability to work under supervision, follow detailed SOPs and operate within review cycles.</li> <li>Fluency in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Who you are:</strong></span></p> <p><strong>You're open<em>:</em> </strong>We are inclusive and collaborative; we encourage the free exchange of ideas; we respect and celebrate diverse views.
