Global Sustainability Compliance Manager

<h2><strong>Your Role in Our Story:&nbsp;</strong></h2> <p>In essence, your role involves:<em>&nbsp;</em></p> <ul> <li data-section-id="17lat1u" data-start="61" data-end="237">Leading ACT’s global sustainability compliance strategy across renewable fuels, gases, and energy products, ensuring alignment with regulatory and certification requirements.</li> <li data-section-id="14d1lwx" data-start="238" data-end="380">Owning and overseeing certification audits, reporting activities, and certification maintenance across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions.</li> <li data-section-id="1e1foea" data-start="381" data-end="530">Partnering with commercial, risk, legal, and operations teams to identify compliance risks and opportunities, enabling informed business decisions.</li> <li data-section-id="ssl782" data-start="531" data-end="663">Developing, optimizing, and scaling global compliance systems, processes, and governance frameworks to support sustainable growth.</li> <li data-section-id="1vmgssv" data-start="664" data-end="781">Building, leading, and coaching a high-performing global team of sustainability compliance specialists and experts.</li> <li data-section-id="1a9xn0g" data-start="782" data-end="915">Monitoring regulatory developments and translating new requirements into effective compliance strategies and operational practices.</li> <li data-section-id="tq3ptx" data-start="916" data-end="1062">Representing ACT in industry associations, regulatory forums, and certification bodies to strengthen our market position and license to operate.</li> <li data-section-id="1psurf4" data-start="1063" data-end="1197">Driving a culture of compliance through policies, training initiatives, and continuous improvement programs across the organization.</li> <li data-section-id="j50cxp" data-start="1198" data-end="1352">Ensuring accurate, timely, and complete sustainability reporting while maintaining the highest standards of audit readiness and certification integrity.</li> <li data-section-id="yuybhe" data-start="1353" data-end="1500">Supporting the development and launch of new products by providing strategic sustainability compliance guidance throughout the product lifecycle.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h2><strong>Your Expertise, Our Shared Success:&nbsp;</strong></h2> <p>To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li data-section-id="gr6xmv" data-start="1659" data-end="1767">University degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.</li> <li data-section-id="8bq1zt" data-start="1768" data-end="1905">6–8+ years of experience in sustainability compliance, renewable fuels, renewable gas, energy markets, or a related regulated industry.</li> <li data-section-id="1j88lgy" data-start="1906" data-end="2058">Strong expertise in sustainability certification and regulatory frameworks, including ISCC, REDcert, Better Biomass, RFS, LCFS, RPS, and REC programs.</li> <li data-section-id="5bhoaz" data-start="2059" data-end="2179">Proven experience leading compliance audits, certification programs, and multi-jurisdictional regulatory requirements.</li> <li data-section-id="xc8qc8" data-start="2180" data-end="2291">Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing teams in an international, fast-paced environment.</li> <li data-section-id="9rbem7" data-start="2292" data-end="2449">Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into practical business solutions.</li> <li data-section-id="fle1xy" data-start="2450" data-end="2594">Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience collaborating across functions, geographies, and external organizations.</li> <li data-section-id="1snwi0s" data-start="2595" data-end="2730">Ability to operate independently in ambiguous and evolving regulatory environments while driving process improvements and innovation.</li> <li data-section-id="v7u6a9" data-start="2731" data-end="2873">Clear and confident communication skills, with the credibility to engage senior leaders, regulators, auditors, and industry representatives.</li> <li data-section-id="ihut0p" data-start="2874" data-end="3030" data-is-last-node="">A proactive, coaching-oriented mindset with a passion for building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>If you meet these criteria and are ready to contribute your expertise to a dynamic and challenging environment, we encourage you to apply.</p>
