Tutors work closely with small groups of students in Math, using provided curriculum and lesson plans to build academic skills, confidence, and engagement. This role is a strong fit for dependable, relationship-driven individuals who are passionate about educational equity, communicate proactively, and are comfortable working as part of a school-based team. Ideal for recent graduates, college students, or aspiring educators seeking hands-on experience in teaching, mentorship, or youth development.</em></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>JOB SUMMARY</strong></span></p> <p>As an in-person tutor with GO Tutor Corps, you will play a critical role in supporting students’ academic success by providing targeted, small-group instruction in Math. While this is a part-time position, tutors are embedded within school communities and contribute meaningfully to students’ daily learning experiences.</p> <p>We are seeking <strong>dedicated and knowledgeable tutors</strong> who are passionate about educational equity and eager to make a measurable difference in students' academic achievement. Ideal candidates are skilled at building relationships, adapting to different learning styles, and engaging students in-person through thoughtful, culturally responsive instruction.</p> <p>Tutors typically work with 3-4 students per session in a supportive environment, helping to drive gains in core academic areas while fostering student confidence and connection.
