<p><strong>Schedule: 2026 - 2027 Academic Year beginning in August</strong></p>

<li>Middle School: Mon - Thurs from 7:15 am - 2:45 pm including a 30-minute lunch break (7 paid hours)</li>
<li>High School: Mon - Thurs from 7:30 am - 2:30 pm including a 30-minute lunch break (6.5 paid hours)</li>
<li>Mandatory in-person training August 10th & 11th, 8:00 am - 2:00 pm both days</li>
<li>First day working in school building: August 12th</li>

<p><strong><strong data-start="0" data-end="23" data-is-only-node="">SNAPSHOT:</strong></strong><strong><strong data-start="0" data-end="23" data-is-only-node=""> </strong></strong><em>This is a part-time, in-person tutoring role in <span class="hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline"><span class="whitespace-normal">Boston</span></span> for candidates who can commit to a consistent Monday–Thursday school-day schedule at either <span class="hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline"><span class="whitespace-normal">Match Middle School</span></span> or <span class="hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline"><span class="whitespace-normal">Match High School</span></span>. Tutors work closely with small groups of students in Math, using provided curriculum and lesson plans to build academic skills, confidence, and engagement. This role is a strong fit for dependable, relationship-driven individuals who are passionate about educational equity, communicate proactively, and are comfortable working as part of a school-based team. Ideal for recent graduates, college students, or aspiring educators seeking hands-on experience in teaching, mentorship, or youth development.</em></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>JOB SUMMARY</strong></span></p>
<p>As an in-person tutor with GO Tutor Corps, you will play a critical role in supporting students’ academic success by providing targeted, small-group instruction in Math. While this is a part-time position, tutors are embedded within school communities and contribute meaningfully to students’ daily learning experiences.</p>
<p>We are seeking <strong>dedicated and knowledgeable tutors</strong> who are passionate about educational equity and eager to make a measurable difference in students' academic achievement. Ideal candidates are skilled at building relationships, adapting to different learning styles, and engaging students in-person through thoughtful, culturally responsive instruction.</p>
<p>Tutors typically work with 3-4 students per session in a supportive environment, helping to drive gains in core academic areas while fostering student confidence and connection. This is a great opportunity for those looking to gain experience in education, mentorship, or youth development — especially recent graduates or those exploring a path in teaching.</p>
<p><strong>Tutors must be able to fully commit to one of the school schedules listed above.</strong> Schedules will be finalized during training and will remain consistent throughout the year.</p>

<p><strong><em>Deliver Small-Group Instruction</em></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide in-person, small-group tutoring sessions focusing in Math to students in middle or high school</li>
<li>Use provided curriculum and materials to deliver structured, engaging lessons</li>
<li>Adapt instruction to meet the individual needs, learning styles, and goals of each student</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><em>Support Academic Growth</em></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Collaborate with school staff to understand students’ academic levels and areas of need</li>
<li>Track and report student progress using designated tools or trackers</li>
<li>Implement feedback from coaches, site leads, or teachers to improve instruction and impact</li>
</ul>

<li>Create a welcoming, supportive learning environment that promotes student confidence and participation</li>
<li>Foster strong relationships with students based on consistency, encouragement, and respect</li>

<li>Maintain a consistent tutoring schedule and attend all assigned sessions and trainings</li>
<li>Communicate proactively with site coordinators regarding absences, challenges, or student needs</li>
<li>Participate in ongoing training and coaching to strengthen your practice and impact</li>
</ul>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li>Minimum: associate degree or enrolled in higher ed</li>
<li>If currently enrolled in higher ed, a GPA requirement of 3.0</li>
</ul>

<li>Availability to attend mandatory in-person training August 10th & 11th, 8:00 am - 2:00 pm both days</li>
<li>Availability to start on August 12th at the school site</li>
<li>Must be able to travel to your assigned school location; transportation is not provided. Schools are located at either: </li>

</ul>
