About the role
This role reports to the Marketing Manager and is responsible for producing high-quality design work while maintaining the visual standards, processes and brand consistency established across the business. Working closely with the Marketing Team, you will create and adapt creative assets for digital, print, social media, email marketing, point-of-sale, packaging and promotional campaigns.
This position is ideally suited to a developing designer who is highly organised, detail-oriented and eager to learn. Success in this role will come from the ability to follow established creative guidelines, manage multiple projects efficiently and consistently deliver work that reflects the Sleepy’s brand.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Production
•Design and produce creative assets across digital and print channels.
•Create marketing collateral including catalogues, brochures, flyers, point-of-sale materials, signage and promotional assets.
•Develop digital creative for website content, EDMs, social media, paid advertising and ecommerce campaigns.
•Adapt existing campaign assets across multiple formats and channels.
•Prepare artwork files to required print and production specifications.
Brand Management
•Maintain strict adherence to established brand guidelines, templates and creative standards.
•Ensure consistency of visual identity, typography, imagery, colour usage and layout across all customer touchpoints.
•Apply established design systems and processes when creating new assets.
•Assist in maintaining and updating brand assets, templates and design libraries.
Collaboration and Support
•Work closely with the Marketing Team to interpret briefs and deliver creative solutions.
•Collaborate with content, ecommerce, retail and product teams to support campaign execution.
•Participate in creative reviews and implement feedback promptly and accurately.
•Support internal stakeholders with day-to-day design requirements.
Asset and File Management
•Maintain organised file structures and version control across all creative projects.
•Ensure artwork, templates and source files are stored according to company processes.
•Assist in managing image libraries, brand assets and creative resources.
•Archive completed projects and maintain documentation where required.
Continuous Improvement
•Stay informed of current design trends, platform requirements and best practices.
•Develop technical and creative skills through feedback, training and collaboration.
•Contribute ideas that improve efficiency while maintaining established brand standards.
Skills and Experience
Essential
•1–3 years’ experience in a graphic design or creative support role.
•Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
•Experience in creating both digital and print marketing materials.
•Strong understanding of typography, layout principles and visual hierarchy.
•Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
•Strong organisational and time management skills.
•Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
•Strong communication and collaboration skills.
•Ability to receive and implement feedback constructively.
•Understanding of print production processes and artwork preparation.
Desirable
•Experience with Adobe Premier Pro, Canva and Cuttable.
•Experience within retail, ecommerce or consumer brands.
•Basic understanding of digital marketing and social media creative requirements.
•Experience working within established brand guidelines and template systems.
