At TFS, "Uniquely You" meets "Powerfully Us", where your individuality strengthens our collective mission.</p> <p>This position reports to the<strong> Training Manager</strong></p> <p><strong>Your responsibilities will include:</strong></p> <p><strong>Learning &amp; Development:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Apply acquired design skills, tools, and techniques to practical work assignments across takealot.com, TFS, and Mr D.</li> <li>Demonstrate continuous learning by incorporating feedback and showing measurable improvement in design output over time.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Design Execution &amp; Support:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assist Training Manager and stakeholders with the creation of design assets across digital and print platforms, under guidance and supervision.</li> <li>Contribute to concept development, layout design, basic visual assets, and production-ready artwork in line with brand guidelines.</li> <li>Prepare and amend design files based on feedback, ensuring accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to deadlines.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Collaboration &amp; Communication:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, Training, and Operations where required.</li> <li>Participate in design reviews, team meetings, and feedback sessions, articulating ideas clearly and professionally.</li> <li>Seek clarification and guidance proactively when requirements are unclear.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Quality, Process &amp; Professionalism:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Adhere to internal design standards, file management practices, and version control processes.</li> <li>Manage assigned tasks responsibly, demonstrating reliability, time management, and accountability.</li> <li>Maintain a professional attitude aligned with Takealot Group values, including openness to feedback and a willingness to learn.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Performance &amp; Progress Tracking:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Engage in regular check-ins with line managers and/or mentors to review performance, learning progress, and development areas.</li> <li>Work with the Training team to track learning milestones and demonstrate readiness for increased responsibility over time.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualification &amp; Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>N6 in Graphic design</li> <li>Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diplomas</li> <li>1-2 years’ experience</li> </ul> <p><strong>Attributes Required</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">:</span></p> <ul> <li>Basic to intermediate proficiency in design software (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign or equivalent).</li> <li>General computer literacy, including file management, email communication, and collaboration tools.</li> <li>Ability to follow brand guidelines and apply feedback accurately.</li> <li>Basic understanding of digital and print design principles (layout, typography, colour, resolution).</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.</li> <li>Clear and professional communication skills (verbal and written).</li> <li>Willingness to ask questions, contribute ideas, and voice opinions constructively;</li> <li>Strong problem-solving mindset with a hands-on approach to tasks.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Join TFS:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Purpose-driven impact</strong>: Transform lives through logistics innovation</li> <li><strong>Advanced technology: </strong>Work with cutting-edge systems in a fast-paced environment</li> <li><strong>Career growth: </strong>Thrive in an agile space that champions continuous improvement</li> <li><strong>Inclusive culture</strong>: Your unique perspective drives extraordinary results</li> </ul> <p>At TFS, your growth is our growth.
