About the role
- Lead the design and development of creative assets across digital and print platforms.
- Ensure brand consistency and adherence to University and global brand guidelines.
- Create impactful visual communications for student recruitment, marketing campaigns, events, and institutional initiatives.
- Develop creative concepts and campaigns that strengthen brand visibility and engagement.
- Partner with marketing, admissions, academic, student recruitment, and communications teams across the Delhi campus and the wider University of Southampton network.
- Collaborate with international stakeholders to adapt and localize creative assets while maintaining global brand standards.
- Act as the key point of contact for creative and production-related requirements.
- Photography, Videography & Multimedia Production
- Plan and execute photography and videography projects for campaigns, events, student life, faculty engagement, and institutional communications.
- Coordinate and manage video production activities, including pre-production planning, shooting, editing, motion graphics, and post-production.
- Ensure the availability of high-quality visual content for marketing and communications initiatives.
- Design website pages, landing pages, emailers, digital advertisements, and user-centric digital experiences.
- Work with developers and digital agencies to ensure accurate implementation of creative designs.
- Optimize creative assets for web, mobile, and social media platforms.
- Manage the production lifecycle for all marketing collateral, signage, promotional materials, merchandise, and branded assets.
- Liaise with printers, production houses, photographers, videographers, fabricators, and creative agencies.
- Obtain quotations, manage budgets, oversee production timelines, and ensure quality control.
- Ensure timely delivery of all creative and production outputs.
- Develop and maintain a centralized repository of photographs, videos, design files, templates, and brand assets.
- Establish processes for asset organization, version control, accessibility, and archival.
- Maintain proper documentation and usage rights for creative assets.
- Support University events, recruitment fairs, academic ceremonies, conferences, and marketing activations.
- Conceptualize and execute event branding, venue graphics, signage, backdrops, displays, and experiential elements.
- Coordinate production vendors and oversee on-ground branding implementation.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines.
- Present creative concepts and incorporate stakeholder feedback effectively.
- Stay abreast of emerging design trends, technologies, tools, and industry best practices.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality creative assets for digital, print, outdoor, event, admissions, and internal communication requirements, ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints.
- Support marketing and recruitment campaigns by creating compelling creatives for performance marketing, social media, websites, email campaigns, brochures, presentations, and advertisements.
- Ensure timely delivery of creative projects, managing multiple assignments simultaneously while adhering to agreed timelines and campaign schedules.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, agencies, and external vendors to conceptualise, refine, and execute creative requirements that align with business objectives.
- Maintain and enhance the University of Southampton Delhi brand identity, including management of creative assets, templates, image libraries, and design guidelines.
- Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement by introducing new creative concepts, design trends, formats, and visual storytelling approaches to improve engagement and campaign performance.
- Always exemplify the University of Southampton Delhi values and behaviours, maintaining a professional, collaborative, and respectful approach in all interactions.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise across branding, digital design, print collateral, social media creatives, photography, videography, and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of visual communication principles, typography, layout design, user-centric design, and brand identity systems.
- Excellent photography, videography, video editing, and creative production capabilities, with the ability to create engaging visual content across multiple platforms.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining brand consistency and visual excellence across all creative outputs and communication channels.
- Ability to conceptualise and execute creative ideas independently, taking end-to-end ownership of projects from brief development through to final delivery.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence in presenting creative concepts and managing expectations across academic, professional services, agency, and leadership teams.
- Ability to communicate project timelines, opportunities, creative recommendations, and potential challenges effectively with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong planning, organisation, and vendor management skills, including coordination with printers, photographers, videographers, agencies, and production partners.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise competing deadlines, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality across all creative assets before publication or production.
- High level of cultural awareness, creativity, and sensitivity when developing content for diverse audiences, ensuring inclusivity and alignment with the University's values.
- Stay up to date with emerging design trends, technologies, AI-enabled creative tools, and industry best practices, proactively introducing innovative ideas to enhance marketing and communication outcomes.
- Flexible in supporting key institutional activities, marketing campaigns, recruitment events, and student engagement initiatives, which may occasionally require working outside normal business hours (including evenings and weekends) in consultation with the line manager.
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a solution-oriented approach while working under pressure and managing multiple priorities.

- Masters (Desirable)
- 5 Years in Tier A University in similar role
- 7 Years in Tier A University in a similar role (Desirable)
- Excellent command of verbal and written English
- Confidence in communicating key points to cross functional audiences
