About the role
- Must have knowledge of graphics design to create visually appealing graphics for communications tools such as social media, marketing materials, and digital campaigns.
- Create and edit engaging social media content, including images, videos, and infographics.
- Manage and update company social media platforms.
- Assist in developing social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create content calendars and schedules.
- Stay up-to-date with design trends, social media trends, and best practices.
- Ensure brand consistency across all digital content.
- Assist in basic video editing and motion graphics when needed.
Requirements:
- Diploma in graphic design, computer science or any related field.
- Experience of 1-3 years in graphics design and video editing.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar software.
- Basic knowledge of video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar)
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
- Excellent creativity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A portfolio showcasing previous graphic design work is an added advantage
