About the role

About Mynt
Mynt is an all-in-one corporate card and spend management platform on a mission to reinvent business banking. By combining smart software with cards and payments infrastructure, we remove manual, time-consuming admin from how companies manage spending.

We’re growing fast across the Nordics and have secured significant funding to support our continued expansion in Sweden and internationally.

Mynt is a tech-first, product-driven company where teams are empowered to solve real problems and build things that matter. We’re a licensed e-money institution, card issuer, and payment processor, operating under the supervision of the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority. Through strong partnerships with leading players such as Fortnox and Nordea — and many more on the way — our solutions are now live across all Nordic countries.

Joining Mynt means helping shape both a category-defining product and a company that’s still early in its journey. With 100+ colleagues (and growing), we’re building teams that value ownership, momentum, and customer impact.

About the Role

We’re looking for a driven and hands-on Group Accounting Manager to join Mynt and play a key role in shaping our finance function as we continue to grow.

In this position, you’ll take full ownership of group accounting and reporting, working at the heart of a fast-moving and ambitious organization. You’ll be part of a close-knit team where collaboration is key, and where you’ll gain broad exposure across the business.

You’ll lead the group reporting process end-to-end – from monthly closings to quarterly and annual reports in accordance with K3. You’ll also work closely with our subsidiaries, acting as a trusted partner by supporting, challenging, and ensuring high-quality reporting and internal controls.

Beyond core accounting, you’ll be involved in exciting strategic initiatives, including M&A activities. You’ll contribute to evaluating potential acquisitions and play an important role in integrating new companies into the group from a financial perspective. This is a unique opportunity to join Mynt during an exciting growth phase, where you’ll have real influence and the chance to shape processes, systems, and ways of working. The environment is fast-paced and entrepreneurial. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, stays curious, and enjoys a high level of ownership.

The role is based at our office on Vasagatan 7 in central Stockholm, reporting directly to the CFO.

What you’ll be up to

  • Own and manage group consolidation and reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual) in accordance with K3, including cash flow reporting

  • Lead and continuously improve the overall accounting process and internal reporting

  • Handle key accounting areas such as revenue recognition, accruals, intercompany transactions, tax and VAT

  • Oversee invoices, payments, credit control, and banking processes

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and provide financial insights to local entities

  • Act as the main point of contact and stakeholder towards external accounting partners across the group

  • Take ownership of tax-related matters and perform ad hoc financial analyses

Who are you?

You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you can make a real impact. You’re proactive, curious, and enjoy tackling new challenges, always seeing opportunities rather than obstacles. You’re a strong communicator who builds trust easily, yet isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo and set clear expectations. You enjoy working both strategically and hands-on, and you’re motivated by being close to the business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master´s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience

  • Experience of auditing or accounting, with a couple of years of experience in group accounting

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles; IFRS experience is a plus

  • Experience from working in regulated environments (e.g. under financial supervision) is meritorious

  • Advanced Excel skills and an interest in systems (experience with AARO or similar consolidation systems is a plus)

  • Fluency in both Swedish and English

  • Experience with acquisitions or working in a growth environment is a plus—but not required.

What we can offer you

  • Be part of an amazing team in a fast-growing scale-up.

  • Work closely with a fun, high-performing team.

  • Enjoy a flexible working environment with a great office location in central Stockholm.

  • Shape your own development and responsibilities based on your passion and interest.

The position will be filled as soon as we find a suitable candidate. Please reach out to us as soon as possible if you believe this for you!
