Our mission is to support the future growth of the company by:</p> <ul> <li>Providing insightful financial information to management and investors</li> <li>Developing a scalable finance platform capable of ensuring proper oversight and compliance</li> </ul> <p>We are currently a team of seventeen, based in London and India with responsibility for partnering with our Global operational teams.&nbsp; You’ll join a dynamic, fast paced innovative team, made up of enthusiastic and experienced finance professionals. You’ll help us drive business performance by continually challenging our ways of working, developing a best-in-class accounts payable process.&nbsp; Excellent training and development opportunities are available for high performing candidates.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>The Role</strong></p> <p>You are a qualified accountant who is keen to work in a rapidly evolving business – providing business insight and ensuring our standards and compliance are best-in-class. You’ll thrive on process innovation and challenging the status quo to achieve great results.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll be doing</strong></p> <ul> <li>Preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts and supporting analysis</li> <li>Ownership of group balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany balances</li> <li>Assist in the preparation of the consolidated management accounts and reporting for the Board and external investors;</li> <li>Management of the SAP system to meet the developing needs of the business, maintaining the chart of accounts and other masterdata and managing internal controls;</li> <li>Work closely with the People team to further develop overseas payroll processes;</li> <li>Assist with company’s auditors during the interim and yearend review to confirm the transactions and balances reported in the financial statements;</li> <li>Support the Financial Reporting team in the processing of accounts payable, bank payments and reconciliations;</li> <li>Contribute to ad hoc projects including fundraising, forecasting and business development.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we think you’ll need</strong></p> <ul> <li>A qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with up to (roughly) 2 years’ experience post qualification – we are open to backgrounds both in industry or practice!</li> <li>Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and tax compliance requirements</li> <li>Outstanding spreadsheet skills and knowledge of financial reporting systems (preferably SAP)</li> <li>A track record of process improvement and innovation</li> <li>Demonstrates ambition and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.</li> </ul> <p><em><br>Liberis is an equal opportunities employer.
