Group Financial Controller

<p><strong><em>Play a key role in managing the financial operations of a fast-scaling global tech company.</em></strong></p> <p>At Supermetrics, we're on a mission to make data easier for everyone. Now, we're looking for an experienced and motivated <strong>Group Financial Controller</strong> to join our Finance team in our Helsinki HQ.&nbsp;</p> <p>This is a key role for someone ready to manage group-level financial operations in an agile and international SaaS environment. If you're practical, detail-oriented, and motivated to grow with a global team, this could be your next big career move.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Responsible for monthly and year-end close procedures including preparation of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.</li> <li>Prepare and analyse financial statements, management reports, and other key financial documents.</li> <li>Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve financial performance and control across the Group.</li> <li>Contribute to day-to-day financial operations including AR, AP, Procurement, Expenses, Treasury and Payroll.</li> <li>Contribute to and maintain group, parent and subsidiary tax compliance, including direct and indirect taxation, transfer pricing.</li> <li>Develop and maintain robust internal controls to ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards and local regulations.&nbsp;</li> <li>Manage external audit during annual Group and statutory audits and assist in resolving audit queries.</li> <li>Prepare local financial statements in Finland</li> <li>Continually evaluate and optimise monthly close and other finance processes, striving to deliver best practice in process automation, efficiencies and improved accuracy.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Key Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li> <li>Technical accounting and tax knowledge (international and local GAAP).</li> <li>Minimum of 3-4 years experience, gained in a multinational technology business.</li> <li>Experience working with NetSuite or other ERP tools such as Oracle, SAP, and Workday.</li> <li>Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to haves:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience building agentic workflows or process automation using AI.</li> <li>Experience with close management tools such as FloQast or Stacks.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Benefits We Offer:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Attractive pay and benefits, including equity participation.</li> <li>Great work equipment, and home office allowance for those working in our fully remote locations.</li> <li>Health care benefit and leisure time insurance.</li> <li>Annual €1,000 personal learning budget.</li> <li>Sports and wellbeing allowance</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>#LI-Hybrid #LI-FullTime&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Join us on our mission to make data a marketing superpower</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Supermetrics builds an end-to-end marketing intelligence platform, with 15% of global advertising spend reported through our products.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>We help marketers turn their data into insights that improve business results and predict the best next step.
