Join our team in Amangiri. Blending into untouched red-rock country on over 900 acres of the Colorado Plateau, Amangiri and its satellite, Camp Sarika, reflect dual aspects of this ancient desert landscape. Camp Sarika, with its 10 tented pavilions, answers the region’s call to adventure. The Role

As Groups Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating, developing, and managing group business across key segments including corporate meetings, retreats, weddings, and social events. You will cultivate long-term client relationships, drive revenue growth, and collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver seamless, memorable experiences aligned with Aman’s standards. This role is based out of an office in Sherman Oaks, California.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Generation & Strategy

·         Achieve or exceed annual group revenue, room night, and ancillary targets

·         Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with overall business goals

·         Identify and secure new group business through proactive outreach and presentations

·         Prepare proposals, contracts, and financial estimates in accordance with brand standards

·         Maximize total revenue through thoughtful negotiation and strategic contracting

Business Development & Relationship Management

·         Cultivate strong relationships with corporate clients, planners, and industry partners

·         Proactively source new accounts and expand into emerging markets

·         Represent the resort at trade shows, networking events, and client meetings

·         Position Amangiri with authenticity, sophistication, and deep product knowledge

Account Management & Reporting

·         Maintain detailed and accurate account records, forecasts, and pipeline activity

·         Monitor performance and implement strategies to meet evolving targets

·         Prepare regular sales reports, performance analyses, and market insights

·         Support annual budgeting and strategic planning processes

Collaboration & Execution

·         Partner closely with Groups & Events, Operations, Marketing, and Revenue teams

·         Ensure smooth communication from initial inquiry through event execution

·         Align sales strategies with on-property experience delivery

·         Share market intelligence and trends with leadership

Requirements

·         Minimum 3–5 years of luxury hotel or resort sales experience, with a focus on group business

·         Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets

·         Strong existing relationships with corporate clients, planners, and industry partners

·         Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

·         Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities

·         Proficiency in PMS systems, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite

·         Knowledge of group travel trends, distribution channels, and platforms such as OPERA and Cvent

·         Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field preferred

·         Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
