Groups & Events Executive

We are looking for a Groups & Events Executive to join our Events team.

In this role, you are the key link in the organisation, coordination and commercial development of a wide range of events. Think meetings, dinners, drinks, (themed) parties, rooms-only groups, but mainly social events in our rooftop bar and terrace. No two days are the same, and that is exactly what gives you energy.

You keep an overview, switch gears quickly and think in solutions. Challenges? You tackle them head-on. But you're not only strong in execution; you also have a commercial mindset. You actively identify opportunities, build relationships with clients and proactively seek new business to bring exciting events and groups to our venue.

As a Groups & Events Executive, you work closely with the team on the planning, coordination and successful delivery of groups and events. From the first enquiry to the final evaluation, you ensure every event exceeds expectations. Thanks to your eye for detail, strong organisational skills and commercial drive, everything runs smoothly and guests enjoy an unforgettable experience.

Who are we?
Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam Rembrandtpark has become a well-known name in Amsterdam West. With eighteen floors, the hotel offers spectacular views across the entire city. On the 17th floor, you will find Floor17, where guests can enjoy great cocktails and dishes at a height of 85 metres.

Our rooftop terrace is the place for special events, such as movie nights, ice skating experiences and relaxing yoga sessions. It is also the perfect location for meetings with a breathtaking view. As we continue to grow our events business, we are looking for someone who is eager to put Floor17 on the map even further by proactively generating new event opportunities and partnerships.

WHO ARE YOU ?

• You have experience in Event Management and a real passion for it.

• You have strong sales skills and know how to bring creative, out-of-the-box ideas to life in events.

• You always think alongside your team and the guest — nothing is too much for you.

• You handle information with care and are able to make strategic decisions.

• You have a good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.

• You are independent and enjoy a challenge.

• Understanding and responding to your clients’ needs? That is your strength.

• You know how to find the right balance between guest satisfaction and hotel profitability.

• Experience with Opera Sales & Catering is a plus!
