Guest Shuttle Valet

Love driving, meeting people, and having some of the best work views in the world? Join Central Snowsports as a Guest Shuttle Valet this winter in Hakuba.

As part of the GSV team, you’ll be responsible for safely transporting guests, luggage, and ski equipment across the Hakuba Valley. You’ll be one of the key first and last touchpoints in the guest experience, helping ensure smooth, friendly, and reliable transport throughout their stay.

Location: Hakuba, Japan
Contract Term: 1st December 2026 - mid/late March 2027. Dates TBC.
Remuneration: ¥1700 per hour.
Role type: casual, up to 36 hours per week in peak season.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Safely operating company vehicles in winter conditions.
• Transporting guests, luggage, and rental equipment.
• Assisting guests entering and exiting vehicles.
• Loading and unloading skis, snowboards, and baggage.
• Delivering equipment to accommodations and store locations.
• Providing friendly, helpful information while en route.
• Supporting guest flow into stores and connecting them with services.
• Monitoring and reporting road and weather conditions.
• Assisting with snow clearing around store areas when required.
• Assisting with in-store operations as needed.

• Confident, safe, and responsible drivers.
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused communicators.
• Comfortable working in changing winter road and weather conditions.
• Able to think clearly and respond to dynamic situations.
• Physically fit and comfortable with an active, outdoor role.
• Team players who enjoy working with guests from all over the world

Requirements:

• Valid work rights for Japan.
• Japanese Drivers Licence or International Drivers Permit.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Japanese language skills are an advantage but not necessary.
• Comfortable driving in winter mountain conditions
