About the role
This is a rare opportunity to take the lead on a brand new, large-format facility before it opens.
A 6,500sqm site in Dandenong, built to operate at scale, is preparing for launch, and we’re looking for an experienced operator to step in early and take ownership from the ground up.
This isn’t stepping into something established. This is building it.
You’ll be responsible for taking this site from pre-opening through to full operation.
That means:
Setting the tone, standards, and structure before doors open
Building and aligning a team across multiple departments
Driving early membership momentum and local engagement
Bringing operational discipline into a fast-moving environment
Once open, you’ll take full ownership of performance across the business.
This is a high-volume, multi-offering facility operating 24/7.
You’ll oversee:
Member experience and front-of-house performance
Sales activity and conversion across the floor
Personal Training and group fitness delivery
Secondary revenue streams
Overall commercial performance of the site
You’ll be on the floor, visible, and setting the standard from day one.
Pre-opening roles don’t come up often at this scale.
You’re not inheriting systems, culture, or habits, you’re creating them.

Fitness experience is valuable, but not essential.
