Whether you’re seeking entry-level employment or a new opportunity to expand your profession, we offer training to develop the technical and managerial skills necessary to enhance your career</p> <hr> <p><strong>Key duties…</strong></p> <ul> <li>Supervise the daily activities within the gym, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all members and guests.&nbsp;</li> <li>Support and motivate the fitness team, including personal trainers and instructors, ensuring they deliver excellent service.&nbsp;</li> <li>Monitor the condition of gym equipment, reporting faults promptly and ensuring that repairs and maintenance are followed up.&nbsp;</li> <li>Lead by example on the gym floor by interacting with members, offering guidance on equipment use, and supporting a positive atmosphere.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ensure compliance with health &amp; safety procedures, including daily checks, risk assessments, and incident reporting.&nbsp;</li> <li>Assist in the induction of new members, demonstrating equipment and advising on safe exercise techniques.&nbsp;</li> <li>Help organise and support fitness events, classes, and challenges to drive member engagement.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ensure gym policies and etiquette standards are upheld, addressing any breaches with professionalism.&nbsp;</li> <li>Assist with rotas and cover shifts as required.</li> </ul> <hr> <p><strong>What we are looking for...</strong></p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in a fitness or gym supervisory role, or significant experience as a senior fitness instructor or personal trainer.&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong knowledge of gym equipment and fitness floor operations.&nbsp;</li> <li>Good understanding of health &amp; safety, with First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).&nbsp;</li> <li>Excellent communication and people skills, with a positive and approachable manner.&nbsp;</li> <li>Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification essential; Level 3 Personal Trainer desirable.&nbsp;</li> <li>Organised, reliable, and confident in handling member feedback or concerns.&nbsp;</li> </ul>
