Tasks

  • **Engagement Type:** Project-based / on-demand assignments
  • Knowledge of Halal standards, Islamic dietary laws, and certification processes.
  • Experience in food production, quality assurance, or food safety audits.
  • Strong analytical, observational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and training sessions.
  • Attention to detail, organization, and the ability to prepare detailed audit reports.
  • Familiarity with international Halal certification standards such as JAKIM, MUI, or MUIS is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English
  • Ability to travel locally and internationally to conduct on-site inspections and audits.

Requirements

**Role Description**

This is a need to need basis on-site role for a Halal Technical Auditor located in USA. The Halal Technical Auditor will conduct Halal compliance audits across food production and processing facilities to ensure adherence to Halal standards. Responsibilities include evaluating raw materials and processes, developing detailed audit reports, and collaborating with production teams to provide expertise on Halal standards. The role also involves educating clients on Halal requirements and supporting continuous improvement of procedures in alignment with Islamic dietary principles.

**Qualifications**

We are currently looking for **auditors based in the United States** to collaborate with us on a **need-to-basis (project-based) engagement**.

**Basic Requirements**

  • Residing in the **United States**
  • Legal status: **U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder**
  • Minimum education: **Bachelor’s degree (S1)** in a relevant field (see list below)
