The Role:

• Deliver engaging and interactive Spanish lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on your experience.
• Foster a love of the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures in students, encouraging them to develop their communication skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
• Create a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment where students feel confident to experiment with language and explore different cultural perspectives.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of an innovative Spanish curriculum that reflects current trends and best practices.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their language acquisition and cultural understanding.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Modern Languages.
• A proven track record of successful teaching and learning outcomes in Spanish.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
• A passion for the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures and a commitment to fostering global citizenship in young people.
