Space Kinetic is building ambitious, first-of-its-kind technology, and that requires urgency, ownership, and a high level of commitment to changing the foundational assumptions for everything we do in space.</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;We are seeking an <strong>Operations Assistant</strong> to support daily facility organization, maintenance follow-up, inventory support, and general operational tasks at our El Segundo location. This role helps maintain an organized work environment, supports material handling, and assists with day-to-day operational needs across the facility.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform general building maintenance and repairs</li> <li>Handle basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry tasks</li> <li>Assemble and move furniture, equipment, and workstations</li> <li>Maintain shop organization and cleanliness</li> <li>Assist with facility improvement projects</li> <li>Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as needed</li> <li>Conduct routine inspections and address maintenance issues proactively</li> <li>Support shipping, receiving, and miscellaneous operational tasks when needed</li> <li>Help maintain a safe and professional working environment</li> </ul> <p><strong>What It Takes:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Previous handyman, maintenance, facilities, construction, or related experience preferred</li> <li>Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair work</li> <li>Comfortable using common hand and power tools</li> <li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds</li> <li>Self-motivated and able to work independently</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Reliable transportation and dependable attendance</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em>*Our vision is unique, and so is the team we’re building.
