Your key responsibilities

Join Rocco Forte Hotels and develop your career in a luxury hospitality environment. Working alongside the Chief Engineer, you will help maintain the hotel to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key responsibilities include carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding to maintenance requests, and completing a variety of repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, decorating, furniture, and fixture work. You will also conduct inspections, maintain accurate records, identify hazards, and support compliance with health and safety regulations.

Working closely with colleagues and contractors, you will help ensure the smooth operation of the hotel and contribute to an exceptional guest experience. Your technical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence will be valued and supported through ongoing development opportunities.

As a valued member of the Forte family, you will:

• Carry out preventative maintenance to ensure the hotel operates efficiently.

• Perform general repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and decorating work.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and colleagues.

• Inspect guest rooms and hotel facilities, identifying and resolving maintenance issues.

• Maintain and repair fixtures, fittings, furniture, lighting, doors, and locks.

• Assist with the upkeep and testing of hotel systems and equipment.

• Support contractors and ensure work meets hotel standards.

• Follow health and safety procedures and maintain accurate maintenance records.

• Keep work areas clean, safe, and organised.

• Deliver high-quality workmanship and exceptional service while maintaining the highest standards throughout the hotel.

• To assist room technician while carrying out perfect room programme.
