About the role

Build the electronics that make smart glasses smart.

We build award-winning smart glasses in Vienna - hardware, firmware, software, all under one roof. At the core of it all is hardware: the circuits, the schematics, the PCBs that make everything possible. We're looking for an engineer who gets a kick out of solving complex electrical challenges in an incredibly compact form factor - and who wants to see their work sitting on someone's face.

This isn't generic electronics work. It's precise, complex, and genuinely cutting-edge.

Tasks

**What You'll Be Doing**

  • Define hardware architecture and identify key components for high-end wearable devices
  • Design and develop schematics and PCB layouts with HDI and EMC-compliant design
  • Contribute to design-for-manufacturing strategy for PCB-integrated systems in wearable glasses
  • Drive hardware bring-up and support test device development
  • Collaborate closely with mechanics, firmware developers, and optics - because our product is all of them at once

Requirements

**What You Bring to the Team**

  • A completed degree or vocational training (TU/FH/HTL) in electrical engineering, embedded systems, or a related field
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in hardware development
  • Strong understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes
  • Proven experience in HDI electronic circuit development and EMC-compliant design
  • Solid background in schematic design and component selection
  • Basic knowledge of firmware and driver programming
  • Fluent English; German is a bonus

**Nice to have**

  • Proficiency with Altium Designer
  • Experience with high-speed, flex-PCB, or thermal management circuits
  • Experience with camera circuit design
  • Familiarity with certification processes - especially EMC validation

Benefits

**What's extra?**

  • Salary: €3.954 – €5.500 gross/month depending on experience
  • Yearly public transport card (Vienna)
  • Workation within the EEA
  • Dog-friendly offices
  • "Inspire Days" – time to learn and recharge
  • A front-row seat to how a deep-tech hardware product gets built - from PCB to shipped device
  • Small, international team where your impact is visible every day

Ready to design the circuits that power the future of wearables?

We can't wait to meet you.

**Making Future Reality – let's wire it together.**
