As a Harness &amp; Avionics technician, you will be an integral part of certified aircraft development and production. Aircraft electrical wiring is a critical system and vital to the success of the business. This role will be heavily focused on wiring, bundling, assembling connectors, and testing. This role will also include support for the various research and development efforts of Beta Technologies in motors, inverters, batteries, flight controls, etc.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><strong>How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:</strong></div> <ul> <li>Build cool things! We are all passionate makers and builders.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Interpret, understand, and occasionally generate, drawings, schematics, and wire lists.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Oversee buildup, repair, and modification of&nbsp;aircraft&nbsp;wiring harnesses for certification and research.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Cut, strip, shield, electrical wiring.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Crimp contacts and splices. Populate connectors. Assemble and develop connector constructions.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Advise&nbsp;engineering for manufacturability/maintainability.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Assist&nbsp;engineering with tooling and best practices.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul> <div><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></div> <ul> <li>Associate degree in electrical engineering technology/similar or equivalent civilian&nbsp;or military&nbsp;work experience. We are willing to look outside the box for the right candidate.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience building wiring harnesses (aircraft&nbsp;harnesses preferred).&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to&nbsp;operate&nbsp;lab equipment including low and high-voltage&nbsp;power supplies, multimeters, soldering irons, heat guns, crimping tools, etc.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills (and be a fun person to work with!)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Slack,&nbsp;Microsoft office, Excel.&nbsp;</li> <li>2+ years of work experience in electronics manufacturing,&nbsp;wire harnessing,&nbsp;etc.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with&nbsp;aircraft-certified designs which may include: AS50881, IPC 620, AC43.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Attention to detail and good dexterity with a multitude of hand tools.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>The wage listed here reflects our best faith estimate for this role. We pay competitively and base compensation on a variety of factors including skills, experience, industry background, and the evolving needs of the role.
