About the role
- Complete a daily truck log via the electronic logging device
- Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately
- Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible
- Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business
- Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct yourself accordingly
- Conduct daily inspections (DVIRs) of the vehicle at the end of the shift and report any problems or damage to management via the electronic logging device
- Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules
- Pick up petroleum product from the loading rack and deliver to customer location in an efficient and safe manner
- High school diploma/GED required
- Class A drivers license in good standing
- 2 years verifiable petroleum experience
- Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement
- Must have a clean DMV record
- Must be drug free; random drug testing required per DOT regulation
- Must pass initial drug test/physical/background check at time of hire
