About the role
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing menus
Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards
Supervise and guide kitchen staff during shifts
Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control
Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety regulations
Manage inventory and assist with ordering supplies
Help train new kitchen staff
Ensure timely food service during busy periods
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience in a professional kitchen
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Strong cooking and knife skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Team leadership and communication skills
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
