Head IT Service Delivery (Five-year fixed term contract)

To ensure the design, implementation and operation of a robust and reliable IT infrastructure to host the Bank’s portfolio of application systems. It includes ensuring optimal performance, resilience, and service quality across the computing infrastructure of the Bank, in adherence to set operational excellence standards.

Areas of responsibility include:

• Ensuring that network performance, systems availability, and uptime targets are achieved, consistent with the ICT Strategy.
• Designing for and implementing resilient and high-performing infrastructure architecture.
• Managing and coordinating capacity planning for infrastructural requirements.
• Managing and coordinating the analysis of infrastructural requirements for information and Technology services across the Bank’s departments.
• Overseeing end-user systems maintenance and support function.
• Overseeing support for enterprise level applications.
• Overseeing maintenance, debugging, updates and upgrades of enterprise level applications.
• Overseeing upkeep and protection of data centers and end-user equipment in liaison with Facilities Management Services.
• Determining and recommending the hardware and software infrastructure.
• Overseeing and managing backend and front-end infrastructure patching and upgrades.
• Drafting and implementing effective and efficient standard operating procedures necessary to ensure compliance to policies, international frameworks and standards.

minimum qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in a Technology related field or MBA plus
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent
• Professional certifications such as MCSE, CCNP, and VCP will be an added advantage

Experience required:
