Our mission is to empower families and their children, from conception to age five, by providing access to high-quality early years learning opportunities that nurture the parent-child bond. &nbsp;The need for support in early childhood development has never been more critical. Babyzone is a charity funded by foundations, philanthropists and trusts, including global venture builder Blenheim Chalcot. &nbsp;We serve families who struggle to access support elsewhere - due to financial, geographic, or cultural barriers - by offering free, evidence-based classes and resources in premium, fully accessible community hubs. It offers a unique chance to leverage your early years expertise within a dynamic and supportive environment.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>The Opportunity<br>As Head of Babyzone Preston, you will lead the launch and daily operations of this brand-new Babyzone Hub, helping to transform the lives of hundreds of families in the area. &nbsp;You will:<br>· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Set up and lead a small local team<br>· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Facilitate the delivery of high-quality early years classes and family engagement activities<br>· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Build relationships with families, local stakeholders, and funders<br>· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Ensure the Babyzone offering is safe, consistent and impactful<br>· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Collaborate with Babyzone Heads across the UK and the central team<br>· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Connect families to Babyzone's digital resources including Baby Buddy app and WhatsApp communities<br>· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;This is a leadership role with hands-on delivery elements, perfect for someone passionate about early years and community engagement<br>&nbsp;<br>What You’ll Need<br>We’re looking for someone who:<br>· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Has a passion for early years development and Babyzone’s mission<br>· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Is an excellent people-person, with empathy and energy<br>· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Has experience working with families and young children<br>· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Can manage a small team and juggle a variety of tasks<br>· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Is based in or near Preston<br>· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Ideally, has a background in teaching or early childhood development<br>· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Comfortable working with partners from health, social care, and voluntary sectors<br>· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Enjoys part-time, flexible working that fits around other life commitments<br>&nbsp;<br>KPIs:&nbsp;<br>· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Build attendance to 100+ family visits per delivery day within the first year<br>· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Build and maintain partnerships with 20+ local organisations including NHS teams, local authority and family support charities<br>&nbsp;<br>Role Details<br>· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Salary: Depending on experience<br>· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Contract: Part-time, permanent, term-time only<br>· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Hours: 2 days per week.
