MISSION
To lead and evolve FlightStory's guest booking operation across all shows. Ensuring we consistently secure culturally resonant, high-impact guests first. You will love making data-led decisions that kill the guesswork in guest booking. The guests you book will drive immense value for audiences, and deepen engagement with our shows across all platforms and build the layers of our brand worlds.
This role brings operational leadership, editorial oversight, digital platform expertise, a data-led mindset, an embracing of AI tools and technology, and desire to continue to build the best Guest Booking team in the world. You will inspire and unite teams across our UK and LA operations, helping define the next era of FlightStory's mission and vision.

KEY OUTCOMES
You lead from the front for the guest booking team across UK and LA, raising ambition, consistency, quality, performance and delivery across all shows.
Continue to elevate our world-class booking strategy that aligns with brand and editorial priorities across long-form, short-form, and our audience's emotional and functional needs.
Continue to lead and develop a data-informed approach to guest selection and not one based gut instinct.
Deliver guest appearances that make and break the news, elevating existing formats and setting a new standard for our shows.

Social & Cultural Intelligence: You have your finger on the pulse of culture and news, and why it matters for our audience.
Data-Driven Decision Making: You love data analytics, from YouTube Studio, to social listening tools, and search trends. You use data to build cases, track performance, and continuously improve the quality of booking decisions.
Team Leadership & Inspiration: Proven experience managing, mentoring, and scaling teams across multiple locations. You know how to build a culture of high performance, and genuine ambition. You set the bar people want to meet.
Editorial Sharpness: Strong sense of narrative, cultural relevance, and the role of guest voices in shaping content performance, you know the difference between a good get and a great one.
AI & Tools Adoption: Curious and actively using AI to work smarter, whether that's research automation, talent pipeline management, outreach drafting, or trend forecasting.
Process & Performance: Skilled in implementing structured workflows, clear reporting, and scalable systems, without losing the creative spark that makes great booking great.
The Black Book: You have a trusted and informed network of contacts across the right ecosystems. You know who to call, and know they will pick up the phone to you.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
You're an experienced booker or producer with a sharp editorial eye, a deep understanding of what makes a guest compelling in the YouTube and digital content space, and the data instincts to back your creative choices with evidence.
You've led teams, ideally across multiple locations, and you know how to build trust, raise standards, and make people feel genuinely inspired to do their best work. You've worked closely with creators and high profile talent and know how to balance the creative with the operational.
You have a founder's mentality: proactive, solutions-oriented, and never satisfied with 'good enough'. You challenge assumptions, including your own, and approach every process with the question: is this the best it can be?
You're collaborative, calm under pressure, and known for bringing energy, rigour, and genuine warmth to everything you do.

A unified, high-performing booking team operating across UK and LA, motivated, well-organised, and continuously levelling up.
Booking decisions are always evidence backed and data-informed: you can articulate why a guest was chosen and what the expected platform, audience, PR and audience impact is.
AI and smart tooling are embraced in the booking workflow, saving time, showing us the best guests for any topic or theme before anyone else may have even thought of them , predicting performance and enabling the team to move faster and to continue to raise the bar.
